Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration website Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The services issue produced for intervention encounters a significant influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to help the servicing of all customers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
